Technocrat University Trains Sports Extracurricular Students at SMAN 1 Pringsewu

Bandar Lampung, – Indonesian Technocrat University (UTI) as one of the Best Private Universities

in Lampung, conducted Injury Management Training at the State High School (SMAN) 1 Pringsewu Lampung.

A total of two lecturers along with three students of the S1 Sports Education Study Program, Faculty of Letters and Educational Sciences (FSIP) trained the extracurricular sports students.
Deputy Head of Student Affairs at SMAN 1 Pringsewu, Krida Dinaswati, S.Pd. open the activity. In his speech, he conveyed the benefits of implementing the training. “Implementation of this injury management training is very beneficial and useful for students, especially those who take part in extracurricular sports,” he said.

Krida hopes that with this injury management training students can gain knowledge in dealing with injuries, especially in handling sports injuries. “I also hope that this form of collaboration between the Indonesian Technocrat University can continue to be established with other useful programs,” he said.

Meanwhile, the chief executive of the training activities, Eko Bagus Fahrizqi, M.Pd, said that the purpose of the training activities was other than the implementation of one of the tridharma of higher education, namely community service (PKM).

“This is also a form of UTI’s concern for students who take part in extracurricular sports. Because students who take extracurricular activities are still relatively vulnerable to injury, either during practice or when participating in championships,” he explained.

Eko also thanked the Chancellor of the Indonesian Technocrat University, Dr. HM. Nasrullah Yusuf, S.E., MBA. and the UTI Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) for their moral and material support. “Thank you for the support that is always given by the Chancellor of UTI, so that the activities for this training can be realized and carried out well,” he concluded.
