Indonesian Technocrat University Holds Online PkM with the Lampung Odapus Community

Bandar Lampung, – The Indonesian Technocrat University (UTI) again delegated several lecturers together

students to hold Community Service (PKM).

This time, the best private university in Lampung held PkM with the Lampung Odapus Community through a Mini Seminar part 1, with the theme “Optimizing Social Media and E-Commerce for Home Businesses” online.

Adapun UTI mempercayai, beberapa tim dalam zoom meeting diantaranya, Larasati Ahluwalia, S.E., M.Sc., Dian Novita, S.E., M.M., Nurul Husna, S.E., M.S.M., dan Berlintina Permatasari, S.P., M.M. dari Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis (FEB), serta empat mahasiswa lainnya.

PKM Team Leader Larasati Ahluwalia explained that this mini seminar was a series of PKM activities entitled, Strengthening Human Resources through Skills Improvement in the Lampung Odapus Community.

“The basic contribution of this PKM activity aims to provide understanding to the Lampung Odapus Community so that they can run their business professionally, creatively and innovatively,” Friday, November 20, 2020.

In addition, Larasati continued, in order to expand the product market from the use of social media and advertising features. For a mini seminar Part 2 via Zoom Meeting, it will be held by discussing “Job Analysis and Making Financial Reports”.

“With the continuation of this seminar, the Lampung Odapus Community is also expected to increase their understanding of the importance of job analysis in organizations and make good and systematic financial reports. This PKM activity is fully funded by the Indonesian Technocrat University,” Larasati explained.
The Chair of the Lampung Odapus Community, Santi, expressed his gratitude to the PKM Team at the Indonesian Technocrat University for assisting in providing education regarding marketing, HR, and financial management.

“”So that in the future we can implement the knowledge gained in businesses/businesses run by each member of the community,” he added.

To note, the current industrial development has focused on the power of creativity which is marked by the increasingly rapid development of information technology that can be accessed by anyone and anywhere.

This is the key to competitive advantage, especially in the creative industry. MSMEs, which are the prima donna today, must be encouraged to reduce the economic disparity of the community. In addition, the creative industry must be able to access change quickly and also adapt to it.

Human resource development and development is a must in dealing with changes in the highly competitive strategic environment. The ability of the creative industry to carry out HR management activities depends on the management’s capacity to generate, change and utilize its HR competencies to achieve the desired results.
